Duck Update

Just before we moved in to Shingle Cottage i told you about the pretty little duck nesting outside our bedroom window...Well the night i moved in she was there all tucked up in her feathery little nest with lots of fluffy little bundles popping in and out from under her feathers,What a joy to see!

The next morning i heard lots of noise in the front garden and went to investigate,The duck had decided it was time to take her brood to a local pond but she couldn't get them out of our cottage garden so i had to go out and open the gate for her and this is what happened.....

How adorable?

I have uploaded lots of pictures and i am finishing off a lamp shade this afternoon so i can start showing you pictures of our Shingle Cottage all dressed up but i have a beachy post coming up from our walk last Sunday.

I hope you are all well and thank you for hanging on in there while i get everything organized here, there is still so much up in the air but you all now what that's like after a move don't you?

Join me next time for more tales and goings on from Shingle Cottage....

  5. How darling! Was out weeding a very overgrown with buttercup raised bed, and gave a mighty pull and uncovered 3 sweet baby bunnies! Hurriedly covered them up and praying neighbors kitties won't discover them! So looking forward to seeing more pictures and hearing more tales of the cottage. Happy August, Mary Anne

  7. Your kitchen sink looks perfect for my kitchen, it would solve a lot of problems in replacing the stainless steel one that I have. My niece ordered hers from England it was four thousand dollars.............................I would not be up for one in that price range. If you could just tell me the brand perhaps I could track it down. It is so much fun watching your progress. You are living out a dream for so many of us!!! Thanks so much for all the gorgeous yet practical entertainment!!!!
